Our Uniglass tempering furnace, the second of its type to be installed in North America, provides the latest innovation in tempering--convection--to produce the highest quality product in the world. Our tempered products are flat--even in large sizes, and exhibit less roller wave distortion. This critical benefit is especially important for deeply tinted or reflective glass products. We also have a large-quench capacity to temper 1/8" glass--without excessive warpage. Our size range is from 4" x 10" to 84" x 144". And our lead time can't be beat!

Syracuse Tuffvue tempered products meet ASTM Standards. as well as ANSI Z97.1 and 16 CFR 1201 standards for safety glazing. Our licensee status from the Safety Glazing Certification Council (SGCC) also demonstrates Syracuse's confidence in its products. The SGCC is a third-party, not-for-profit organization that sponsors and administers a certification program involving labeling, unannounced plant inspections, in-plant testing and record-keeping, and independent laboratory testing of our products.
